Medicare 101

Class is in session! Learning about Medicare can be simple or overwhelming depending on your teacher, and here at Blackhawk Insurance, we like to think we have some of the best professors in the business! So, without further ado, let the lessons on Medicare insurance begin!

What is Medicare?

Medicare is federal health insurance for anyone age 65 and older, and some people under 65 with certain disabilities or conditions. Medicaid is a joint federal and state program that provides heath coverage for some people with limited income and resources.
